Another real early riser,
before dogs are up and on guard,
while most are still deep in their dreams,
he’s busily unlocking the yard.

His route is mostly half over
even before my first cup.
If you ask him “Hey, how’s the business?”
He’ll reply, “Oh, it’s pickin’ up.”

He takes interest in his customers,
works hard to keep places clean.
We’ll all thank him through eternity,
