Consecutive Rib Win for Mr. G’s

Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County held their sixth annual Door County Rib Fest on Nov. 1 at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club. Those in attendance tasted an assortment of ribs prepared by local chefs and voted for their favorite ribs in both the professional and amateur categories.

Participating at the event in the professional category were Casey’s BBQ & Smokehouse, Inn at Cedar Crossing, John Martin’s Restaurant, Julie’s Park Café and Motel, Mr. G’s Logan Creek Grille, Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club, The Cabin Restaurant, and The Lodge at Leathem Smith. Mr. G’s Logan Creek Grille took home the trophy for a second win (they also won in 2012). The amateur category included the Young Automotive Pit Crew and the Door County Hardware Team. The Young Automotive Pit Crew was awarded the trophy.
