Contemporary Quilts by Pat Kroth at Bazyli

Bazyli Studio Wearable Art Gallery in Baileys Harbor is exhibiting the contemporary art quilts of Verona, Wisconsin, fiber artist Pat Kroth, whose quilts have been featured in many national and international exhibitions. 

Kroth creates fragment-collage quilts composed of tiny pieces of fiber, trapped threads and found objects. Using hand-painting, dyeing and other surface-design techniques, she transforms the cloth and paints with thread. For the 2019 season, Bazyli Studio is featuring selections from Kroth’s Sheer collection. 

Bazyli Studio, 2551 Ahrens Road, also specializes in wearable art: colorful bags, hand-crafted jewelry and clothing. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm; Sunday, 11 am – 4 pm; and July 8.
