Grace Johnson is a Door County native, raised in Ellison Bay. Growing up, her spare time was spent sneaking into her neighbors garden for tea parties.
After graduating from Gibraltar in 2012, Johnson attended Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, where she earned her BA in English, minoring in history and creative writing. The summer before her junior year, she started interning at the Pulse – she would continue to return during her breaks from school. Two years later in 2016, she was hired on full time.
Aside from the work she does with the Pulse, Johnson’s biggest passion is reading and the publishing industry. When she doesn’t have a book in hand, she is usually watching YouTube videos about books, finding reviews on social media or reading the latest publishing industry news.
You can find a majority of her work in the Pulse‘s literature section.
