Conversation With a Filmmaker

Write On, Door County will be hosting a coffee and conversation with filmmaker Pamela K. Johnson on Aug. 29, 10 am. Light refreshments will be served. The program is free and open to the public.

Johnson is an O’Brien Fellow in Public Service Journalism at Marquette University. Her project is a feature-length documentary centered around Black people and swimming. Over the last five years, she has made two short films on swimming. She will show the documentaries and share her lookbook for the longer project.
