Cook with Guinness at The Inn at Kristofer’s

Join guest chef Terri Milligan for a five-course dinner and one-hour cooking demonstration featuring Guinness beer and Irish Cream liqueur. “My Goodness, It’s Guinness” cooking class and dinner is slated for March 22 at The Inn at Kristofer’s in Sister Bay.

“This is always one of the most popular events that I teach,” explained Chef Milligan. “Many people don’t realize what a great ingredient Guinness can be in cooking.”

The event begins at 6 pm with a complimentary Black Velvet champagne drink of half champagne, half Guinness. In the demonstration, Chef Milligan will show participants how to create the evening’s menu at home.

The menu includes: Irish oysters featuring oysters topped with applewood smoked bacon, cabbage and a Guinness flavored hollandaise sauce; artisan greens with roasted butternut squash, dried Wisconsin cranberries, spiced pepitas and a pumpkin seed vinaigrette; wild mushroom stuffed pork tenderloin finished with a mushroom Guinness reduction; and a dessert Irish Cream scented pot de crème with homemade biscotti.

The cost of the dinner and class is $68 per person. The event is limited to 26 people.
