Corner of the Past Farm Market Returns June 27

The Saturday morning Farmers’ Market held on the grounds of Sister Bay’s Corner of the Past and Anderson House Museum opens for the season June 27 at 8 am.

An ever-changing array of locally grown vegetables, fruits and flowers in season will be available, along with prepared foods from certified area kitchens. The market concludes at noon.

Heritage demonstrations of a variety of hand-made crafts will also be a weekly feature throughout the season, with a different artisan on site each Saturday the summer. Demonstrations are scheduled from 9 – 11 am.

In addition, the Old Anderson House, centerpiece of the museum grounds, will be open for viewing. Admission to the 1870s-era farmhouse with its collection of period furnishings is $1.

The Corner of the Past Museum is located at the intersection of Highway 57, Country Lane and Fieldcrest Road, one and a half miles from downtown Sister Bay.
