County Hosts Open Houses for John Miles County Park Planning

The Door County Parks and Land Use Services Departments are in the process of developing a recreational plan for the John Miles County Park (previously “Door County Fair Park”).

Open house meetings have been scheduled to tour the grounds, present information regarding the planning process, and gather input from participants. All meetings will start at the Junior Fair Building located at John Miles County Park, 812 N. 14th Ave., Sturgeon Bay.

Six sessions will be held:  Tuesday, June 13, at 4 and 5 pm; Friday, June 16, at 11 am and noon; Wednesday, June 21, 4:30 and 5:30 pm.

There will be a short presentation at the start of each meeting and then a tour starting approximately 15 minutes later. You can also take a survey online here . Responses and comments regarding the planning process may be submitted at any time before the open house meetings, at the open house meetings, or up through Friday, Aug. 7, 2017.
