County Highway G Closures Through Oct. 21

The Door County Highway Department announced that beginning Oct. 4, County G between County B and Bluff Drive, will be closed between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm for tree removal in preparation of repairs to the roadway embankment. The daily road closures will continue until the brush and tree removal is complete. Beginning on Monday, Oct. 10, at 7:30 am this segment of County G will be closed to all traffic during all hours of the day for the repairs to the embankment that is failing. The road closure will be in effect until the repair work is complete, which is estimated to be Oct. 21.
