County Kids Invited to Art for Health Workshops

Ministry Door County Medical Center’s (MDCMC) Art for Health free workshops for children will begin at the end of January. The workshops focus on music and art using performance, demonstrations and other activities with local visual and performing artists as facilitators. These classes strengthen each participant’s relationship with art and emphasize how creativity in a child’s life contributes to their overall health.

Each free Art for Health session runs for five consecutive weeks. Another set of classes for Northern Door will begin the week of Feb. 21 and run through the end of March.
