County League Baseball Seeks Umpires

Door County League baseball is struggling to find umpires, so chief umpire Roger Van Lanen is urging anyone who’s interested in helping the league compete in 2022 by becoming an umpire to seek certification through the WIAA or document their umpiring experience to be considered. 

The 2022 season will kick off on Mother’s Day: Sunday, May 8. Umpires are paid for each game they work. Those interested should contact Van Lanen at 920.609.2214 or [email protected].
