County Puts Island Dairy Rehab out to Bid

The Door County Board of Supervisors sent the Washington Island Government Facility out to bid during its Tuesday meeting. Door County intends to renovate the historical dairy at 1309 Range Line Road on Washington Island into an emergency medical services (EMS) facility. 

The county purchased the property for $800,000 in July 2020. Construction costs have been estimated at roughly $1 million, including a 14 percent contingency, with project completion expected by the fall of this year.
