County Tourism Organization Seeks Input

Destination Door County – the county’s tourism marketing and management organization – is requesting community input that will help with prioritizing its three-year strategic plan.

“As a community shared values organization, getting input from local stakeholders and community members is an important part of our planning process,” said Julie Gilbert, president/CEO of Destination Door County (DDC). “We appreciate people’s willingness to share their feedback with us.

The online survey will be available through Friday, Sept. 30.

Over the next two months, DDC will incorporate into the strategic plan the survey results, industry research, and input from a new joint strategic planning committee made up of DDC board members and Door County Tourism Zone Commission (DCTZC) representatives. When approved by the DDC’s board of directors and the DCTZC, the updated strategic plan will lay out DDC’s program of work for the next three years.
