County Treasurer Office Hours Dec 27 – 29

Door County Treasurer Jay Zahn will have regular office hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm Dec. 27, 28 and 29 for taxpayers wishing to pay their property taxes before the end of 2017. The government center is closed Dec. 26 for the Christmas holiday. The Treasurer’s office also has a mail slot just inside the door of the 5th Avenue entrance for after hour payments. Payments mailed Dec. 31 and before and receipted in January will be noted that they were received in 2017. Branches of Associated and North Shore Banks in Sturgeon Bay and Sister Bay will accept tax payments the morning of Dec. 30. Door County collects for 15 of the 19 municipalities in December and January. Payments for Nasewaupee, Clay Banks, Brussels and Union should be sent to the local treasurers.
