A County-Wide Request to All Eligible Voters

With a very controversial election coming in November all polling locations are expecting to be very busy. Most poll workers are there from 6:30 am until ballots are tallied, sometime after 8:30 pm. In a Presidential year they may be there as late as 9:30 or 10 pm. That is a long day. What adds to their time is tallying all the write-in votes. My plea is this: please don’t write in votes for Mickey Mouse or Atom Ant. This just makes the poll workers stay longer and let’s face it, this type of write-in vote isn’t going to win the election. Let’s help the poll workers out by casting votes for legitimate people and not fictional characters.
