COVID-19 Boosters for Adolescents

Following the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Prevea Health is now administering booster doses of Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines for adolescents aged 12-15

“As we see pediatric cases rise across the country, it’s very important that we protect our children from COVID-19 infection,” said Dr. Ashok Rai, president and CEO of Prevea Health. “The latest data has shown that COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are seven to 11 times higher in unvaccinated adolescents compared to vaccinated adolescents.”

This booster dose can be administered at least five months after a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. At this time, Pfizer is the only vaccine approved for youth aged 12-17. Schedule an appointment at or by calling 833.344.4373. There is no cost for the vaccine, and vaccination status and insurance are not needed.
