Crossroads at Big Creek Seeks Graphic Designer

Crossroads at Big Creek is a beloved community treasure, nonprofit learning center and nature preserve that offers education, conducts research and provides outdoor experiences to inspire environmental stewardship in learners of all ages.

In order to make the Crossroads preserve more welcoming and easier to negotiate, a trail system of four to five multidistance loops are being created. They will be named, identified by colors, measured and marked.

Crossroads is looking for an artist or graphic designer to bring this trail system to life through creating a user-friendly, visually pleasing and easily understood map that will also include a key and landmarks.

The first concept draft is due March 16; the completed design is due May 1. The final product will be the property of Crossroads.

When applying, include at least one example of your work that helps us to picture how your style might work for this project, plus a paragraph with any additional information about yourself or your experiences that speak to why you would be a good fit for this project. Also include your contact information and the contact details for one character reference.
