Crossroads Hosts an EGGstravaganza

Crossroads at Big Creek will hold an EGGstravaganza, their annual celebration of eggs, the day before Easter. This event is not a hunt; instead, learners of all ages explore the wonders of bird eggs – the various strengths, shapes and variations. Families are invited to celebrate by breaking, dissecting, rolling, tossing and dropping eggs.

Last year, EGGstravaganza took place outside on lush green grass, but may take place inside the Collins Learning Center on Mar. 30 at 1 pm.

On April 2 at 7 pm the Door Peninsula Astronomical Society will hold their monthly meeting at Stonecipher Astronomy Center. Dave Udell and Tom Minahan will present “Apps for Astronomy,” and Dr. John J. Beck will present the Viewing Target of the Month.

Refreshments will be served and visitors are encouraged to attend.

Crossroads is located at 2041 Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay. The Collins Learning Center is open daily 2 – 4:30 pm, but will be closed March 31 (no community ski).
