Crossroads Hosts Family Programs Beginning July 5

Beginning July 5, Crossroads at Big Creek will host family programs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with Summer Educator Joan Wilkie. Adults without kids are also welcome to participate in the hands-on activities. The programs begin at 10 am and are free and open to the public.

On July 11, explore the “Gifts of Glaciers.” Discover how the Great Lakes were formed and learn about the creatures that live in the inlands seas.

On July 12, search for butterflies while exploring the fields and woods of Crossroads. Learn to use a hand lens and a collecting net.

Meet at the Collins Learning Center, located at 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay. This Collins Learning Center is open 1-3 pm Tuesday through Saturday during the summer.

During the parking lot expansion project, parking will be available much of the time, but when heavy equipment is present, visitors should park at the Maintenance Building (first drive east of the main entrance) or at the Astronomy Campus parking lot (intersection of Cove Road and Utah Street).
