Crossroads Hosts Various Programs

Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay will host three programs the weekend of Jan. 20 – 22.

Jan. 20 at 3 pm, the Crossroads will host a free screening of Loggers of Door County. This documentary, produced by the Door County Historical Society, tells the story of the lumber industry in the late 1800s.

Jan. 21 at 7 pm, the Door Peninsula Astronomical Society will host “Viewing Night” at the Astronomy Campus. The observatory will be open as well as viewing through various telescopes owned by members of the club. The event will be canceled if the sky is overcast.

Jan. 22 from 1 – 3 pm, Friends of Crossroads will loan skis and snowshoes (depending on weather), free of charge, to residents and visitors of Door County on a first come first serve basis. Equipment cannot leave Crossroads and must be returned before dark.
