Crossroads Offering Summer Family Programs

Thanks to a grant from the MMG Foundation, Crossroads at Big Creek offers Family Programs throughout the summer so people of all ages can learn about their environment together. Summer educator Joan Wilkie will present hands-on activities for all ages each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (except July 4) at 10 am starting in the Collins Learning Center. These programs are free and open to the public.

The first Family Program is scheduled for July 3 and focuses on the Heritage Garden at Crossroads. Participants visit the 1890s-style garden and observe the flowers, herbs, and vegetables which Wisconsin settlers grew and used for food, seasonings and home remedies.
