Crossroads Receives Cellcom Green Gift

A $1,000 Cellcom Green Gift will go to Crossroads at Big Creek, a preserve that conducts research and offers education and outdoor experiences to inspire environmental stewardship in learners of all ages. The Green Gift will support Crossroads’ efforts to add a trail map to its Ida Bay Preserve to increase use and provide additional education.

Twenty-five green organizations received a share of the $30,266 in Green Gifts from Cellcom this year. The program uses funds generated by Cellcom’s cell-phone recycling program to support green nonprofit initiatives.
