Crossroads Run Adds Chip-Timing

The 12th annual Crossroads Trail Run, hybrid hustle style, will take place June 19 at Crossroads at Big Creek. The chip-timed race with awards will have a staggered start, beginning at 8 am. All runners and walkers are asked to social distance and wear masks if they enter the Crossroads building at 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.

Participants can also choose to run or walk between June 17 and June 19 on Crossroads’ marked trails or at a location of their choice. Register by May 22 at CrossroadsRun.com to guarantee your performance T-shirt.

As each participant crosses the finish line, she or he will receive an American cranberry viburnum plant donated by Evergreen Nursery, as well as a post-run refreshment bag with Crazy-good Granola. Local awards for the 5K and 10K races include a handcrafted bowl by local ceramic artist Liz Butler, maple syrup from Henschel’s Farms, golden honey from Door County Beekeepers, and handcrafted soap from Sweet Mountain Farms.
