Dairy Processor Grant Application Open

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection invites Wisconsin dairy processors to apply for grants through Jan. 30, 2023.

Eligible applicants must operate a licensed dairy processing plant in Wisconsin that is engaged in pasteurizing, processing or manufacturing milk or dairy products. Grant funds may be used to address business needs such as food safety, staff training, plant expansion or modernization, and professional consulting services.

Grants will be awarded for projects up to $50,000 and two years in duration, and processors must provide a match of 20% of the grant amount.

The grant application is available at datcp.wi.gov/Pages/Growing_WI/DairyDevelopment.aspx. Grant recipients will be announced in March 2023.
