Dan Ariens Keynotes DCEDC’s Annual Investors Meeting

The Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) announces Dan Ariens will be the keynote speaker for their annual investors meeting and luncheon on April 7 at the Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center in Sturgeon Bay. Ariens is president and CEO of Ariens Company. His remarks will address “Growing a Workforce in Rural Wisconsin.” He was invited by the DCEDC Board of Directors to share his leadership and success in growing his company’s workforce, especially their work with local schools to retain youth in their community.

The annual investors meeting will also include the presentation of the Door County Industry of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. This year will also see the second presentation of the Wellness Works Awards, a collaboration between DCEDC, the Door County YMCA and Ministry Door County Medical Center, recognizing business leaders who encourage employee wellness. The luncheon meeting will also include the annual report to the community about the accomplishments of DCEDC during 2015.
