Emerald Lion at Studio234 (formerly Andria’s Dancin’ on the Door) is hosting its first student recital since the pandemic on April 16, 2 pm, at Third Avenue PlayWorks, 239 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. Almost 30 dancers, ages 4-16, will perform pieces they’ve been preparing since the fall of 2022. Admission is $10.

Guest instructor Amanda List will return to Studio234, 234 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, for a smooth hop “playshop” April 22, 1-2:30 pm, that’s designed for ages 18 and older and all levels of ability. The cost is $30 per person. Space is limited, so register (required) by April 19 at doorcountystudio234.com.

List is a dancer/choreographer with a B.A. in dance from UW-Stevens Point, as well as other studies in movement, spirituality and psychology. She believes in the power of healing through movement.
