Dancin’ on the Door Offers Fun Options for Adults, Kids

Dancin’ on the Door will welcome new yoga instructor Cora Orrick on Feb. 11, 11 am – 12 pm, with a class geared to all ability levels to benefit HELP of Door County. Advance registration is requested but not required; drop-ins are welcome. Yoga mats will be provided. The cost is $7 per person.

Dancin’ on the Door will also lead Everything Frozen, a workshop intended for children ages five through seven, on Feb. 5, 4:30-5:45 pm, at SWY231 in Sturgeon Bay. Students will learn dance moves through music, stories and creative characters. The cost of $20 per student for this one-time workshop includes an exciting, themed lesson plan with props and dress-up; achievement sticker sheets and coloring handouts; and a short parent performance at pick-up time. Registration is required by Feb. 3. 

Dancin’ on the Door will lead Everything Frozen, a workshop for children, on Feb. 5, 4:30-5:45 pm, at SWY231 in Sturgeon Bay.

Intro to East Coast Swing workshops – geared for older teens and adults – will be held Feb. 5, March 4 and April 1, 6-7:30 pm, at SWY231. Dance steps will be broken down to provide students with the basics of East Coast Swing, posture, frame and how to connect a variety of steps. The cost is $25 per couple for one workshop or $60 per couple for all three. Early registration is required.
