Dancin’ on the Door’s Winter Offerings for Children, Adults

Dancin’ on the Door will offer workshops throughout the winter months at its studio and at locations throughout the county.

Belly Dance Basics with Andria will also be held at SWY on Jan. 22. Submitted.

Through the Magical Dancing Door (Everything Frozen) will be held at Sturgeon Bay’s SWY (adjacent to Third Avenue Playhouse on 3rd Avenue) on Jan. 22. Geared for children ages five through seven, each workshop is different and centers around a fantastic theme. Encouraging imagination and exploration, students will learn dance moves through music, stories and creative characters.

The cost per student for this one-time workshop is $20, which includes a themed lesson plan with props and dress-up, achievement sticker sheets and coloring handouts, plus a short parent performance at pick-up time. The class run time is 75 minutes. Registration is required by Jan. 20.

Belly Dance Basics with Andria will also be held at SWY on Jan. 22. In this workshop, students will learn the fundamentals and isolation patterns that make up this ancient dance style. This class is for all levels of ability.

The tuition for this one-time workshop is $18, and registration is required by Jan. 20. Another Belly Dance Basics with Andria course will be offered at Dancin’ on the Door on Jan. 29, and registration for this course is due on Jan. 27.
