Dark Songs 2018

This year marks the 10th year of Dark Songs, a songwriting event hosted and sponsored by the Holiday Music Motel. Since 2009, more than 30 songwriters have converged upon the motel each year to write and record a whole new slew of songs that they perform in a staged show at Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP).

The Holiday welcomes back their return attendees and Eric McFadden, who is coming back after a nine-year absence. They also welcome first-time participants Feathered Mason, Nicholas Raymond, Leilani Diaz, Matt Blake, Sam Lyons and Shannon Brackett.

Event passes are $20 for the weekend, which includes a free download of the Dark Songs Vol. 9 double disk collection. Single-night passes are  available for $10, cash only, and they can be purchased on show nights at TAP. Doors open at 7 pm; the show starts at 7:30 pm. Seating is first-come, first-serve.
