Whether our deepest fears are the work of demons, evil spirits, insanity or just the everyday horror of human mortality, they’re all fertile ground for a songwriter’s imagination. Dark Songs 2019 marks its 10th anniversary with its 11th production, Stage Fright.
One of three major songwriting/recording/performance marathons produced annually by the Steel Bridge Creative Foundation – and hosted by the Holiday Music Motel – Dark Songs peaks the weekend before Halloween with two nights of performances, Oct. 25 and 26, 7:30 pm, at Third Avenue Playhouse in Sturgeon Bay.
A nationwide core of Steel Bridge faves – including Eric McFadden, James Hall, Liv Mueller, Kate Vargas, Andrea Wittgens and others – will welcome relative newcomers Robin Coomer and Gervis Myles and first-timers Selorm and Christopher “CRS” Sheer as they all create fresh material for Dark Songs 2019.
This ticketed event has assigned seating; advance ticket purchases are strongly encouraged. Visit HolidayMusicMotel.com/DarkSongs2019 or call 920.743.5571 to find out more.
