Dauost Directs Senior Life Solutions Program

Door County Medical Center (DCMC) has welcomed Lauren Daoust as the new program director of its Senior Life Solutions program, an intensive, outpatient group-therapy program designed to support seniors experiencing age-related depression, anxiety, life transitions, a recent health diagnosis or the loss of a loved one.

Daoust will promote awareness of the program and direct and coordinate the activities of program staff to ensure quality patient care. She will also continue serving as a program therapist, providing therapeutic services through group, individual and family therapy sessions.

Daoust has a master’s degree in social work and has been a Senior Life Solutions therapist since the program began in October 2020. She was previously a DCMC social worker and case manager, as well as a social worker for Unity Hospice in Door and Kewaunee County. She lives in Sturgeon Bay with her family.
