David Frykman Carves Wood from Eagle Tower

Woodcarver David Frykman, in cooperation with the Friends of Peninsula State Park, has created a limited number of pieces from wood reclaimed from the recently deconstructed Eagle Tower in Peninsula State Park. The designs include black bears, Canada geese and bald eagles.

A selection of the creations will be auctioned off to benefit the new tower fund on July 6 in conjunction with the benefit concert for the new nature center at Peninsula State Park. Other carvings will be available at the Frykman Gallery in Sister Bay.
