Davis, Orlock Release New Poetry Books

Four Windows Press has published two new volumes of poetry by Door County poets, both of whom have had work published in the Peninsula Pulse and in anthologies, magazines and journals. 

A Gatherer of days and lights and secret places by Ethel Mortenson Davis contains both her poetry and samples of her abstract art. Con/verse/sations With Myself by Mike Orlock dances with a mix of irreverent, funny, clever, crazy and even political poetry.

Davis has had six previous books of poetry published, and in 2018, the Wisconsin Library Association named her book Under the Tail of the Milky Way Galaxy an outstanding book of poetry by a Wisconsin poet. Her pastel artwork has also appeared locally in gallery exhibitions.

Orlock is the current Door County poet laureate and has earned poetry awards from a variety of regional writing organizations. This is his fourth book.
