Dawn Patel Leads Creative, Online Workshops

If the words or feelings of falling “between the cracks” speak to you, the Public Arts Initiative of Egg Harbor invites you to participate in a group exhibition at the Kress Pavilion. Between the Cracks: The Gift of Liminality will be an exploration of creative potential.

In advance, Door County artist and educator Dawn Patel will lead two free, virtual workshops Jan. 23 and 30, 10 am – 12 pm, but recordings will be accessible through the end of February. Computer/Wi-Fi access will be available at the Kress during the workshops. Call 920.868.3334, ext. 3, to reserve your computer space. 

The workshops will use visualization, automatic writing and drawing, dream meditation and consciousness exploration. Beginners and experienced artists are all encouraged to participate. 

Participants will then create and display a work of art during a three-month exhibit beginning in March. All media will be considered, but some limitations may apply. Artists should supply their own tools and equipment.
