Day of Mending Oct. 22

The Harborettes Home Community Education Club will host a Day of Mending service project Oct. 22, 9 am – 1 pm, at the Bertschinger Community Center, 7860 Hwy 42 in Egg Harbor.

Take clean clothing or linens that need mending, and club members will sew on buttons, repair seams, and hem and patch items. (Sorry – no zippers.) There will also be a bake sale and book sale to raise funds for club expenses.
