DC Adventure Center Offers Glow Stick Zip Line Tour and Barn Dance

Squares, lines, and circles will fill the renovated turn-of-the-century dairy barn on Oct. 13, 6 – 9 pm, as part of the Door County Adventure Center’s barn dance. The event will be fun for the whole family with live music from the Clark Brothers. The Clark Brothers specialize in old-time mountain music and feature fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, bass, and drums.

Caller Margie Clark will bring everyone up to speed on formations and promenades.

Lemonade and water will be provided by DC Adventure Center; however, it is encouraged to bring a favorite fall snack to share. Admission to the live music and dance is free, but a $5 donation is asked.

The fun continues after the dance with the DC Adventure Center’s new Glow Stick Zip Line Tour. Decked out in glowing neon, zip lining is brought to a whole new level by flying through the night sky like a shooting star. Certified guides will keep the event safe and fun for all ages.

Call ahead to reserve a spot; for those who attended the barn dance the cost is only $35 per person.

Both events are located at 4497 Ploor Road in Sturgeon Bay. For more information or to make a zip line reservation call 920.746.9999 or email [email protected].
