DC Adventure Center Opens Summer Camp Registration

Door County Adventure Center opened registration for summer camps.
Does your child need to meet new friends or increase his/her personal confidence? Is your child adventurous? Then Camp Confidence is a perfect summer camp opportunity. The Center has a 100 percent return rate for the last two years, and the camp keeps growing. This season, two sessions targeted to specific ages groups are offered.
Camp Confidence is a day camp focused on goal setting, climbing, fun, celebration, body image, bullying, trust, respect, personal belief, personal confidence as well as value and appreciation.
Session one is for ages 7 – 10, while session two is for ages 11 – 14. Only four spots are left for each session; camp registration ends May 31.
Door County Adventure Center also runs a camp for siblings of people with special needs called Sib Camp. This camp is filled with kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, night zip lining, hiking, swimming, camp cooking and stargazing opportunities.
This overnight (five days, four nights) camp is a time to “celebrate me,” by bonding with peers who truly understand the ups and downs of having a sibling with special needs. For more information about Sib Camp visit fvssn.org.
