DC Deli Fills Up with the Sounds of Raddatz & Mattson

Marybeth Mattson

While the weekend wraps up, the music scene at the DC Deli in Sister Bay will gear up. On the evening of June 19, local singer-songwriters Seth Raddatz and Marybeth Mattson, as well as Raddatz’s band Sunmark, will perform from 6 – 10 pm.

Mattson and Raddatz will weave together harmonies and guitar leads with poetic lyrics and the honesty of the new folk generation from 6 – 8 pm. Mattson, daughter of local favorite Jeanne Kuhns, sings with passion and just a little grit, and Raddatz, son of local folk musician Mark Raddatz, has been fine tuning his performances around the county for several years.

The night continues from 8 – 10 pm with Seth Raddatz and his band Sunmark, featuring Austin Raddatz on drums and Tony Gesell on bass. Sunmark’s lyrics range from the strong of heart to the haunting. Combining truly memorable melodies and hard-rocking band members, this trio is too good to miss.

The DC Deli is located at 10663 N. Bay Shore Drive (Highway 42) in Sister Bay. For more information call 920.854.4514.
