DC United Takes Boys Swimming Conference Title

The Door County United swim team won the Eastern Wisconsin Conference swimming and diving championship at Kiel on Feb. 5, recording 106 points to outpace second-place Plymouth, which had 95. 

Jacob Norton helped lead the way by taking first in the 100 breaststroke and 50 freestyle events. Norton joined Race Kasten, Drew Rass and Connor Thompson in winning the 200 medley relay. Kasten also took second in the 100 backstroke; Rass took third in the 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley; and Ethan Almstadt earned third-place finishes in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle. 

James Pollock finished third in the 200 freestyle and joined the team of 

Almstadt, Logan Filan, and Thompson to take second in the 400 freestyle relay. Almstadt, Filan, Rass and Norton took second in the 200 freestyle relay. 

The WIAA Division 2 Sectional will take place Feb. 12 at Ashwaubenon.
