DCA Adds Josh Turner to Lineup

Door Community Auditorium (DCA) is having a record year for ticket sales, and the season hasn’t even begun yet. Still, that didn’t prevent DCA from adding another stellar act to its already jam-packed lineup: multi-platinum country music sensation Josh Turner. Turner will bring his rich bass-baritone voice and many hit songs to the DCA stage on June 25.

Multi-platinum MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner is one of country music’s most recognizable hit-makers. At age 37, he’s one of the youngest members of the Grand Ole Opry. With a rich, deep voice and distinctive guitar style, Turner has sold more than 12 million recordings.

From his 2003 Platinum-selling debut “Long Black Train” to his most recent 2012 Billboard No. 1 release “Punching Bag,” Turner has garnered multiple Grammy, CMA, and ACM nominations. Turner’s hits include “Your Man,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” “Firecracker,” “Would You Go with Me,” “All Over Me,” and “Time Is Love,” the most played country song of 2012.

Turner will perform at 8 pm on June 25. Tickets go on sale for DCA VIPs via walk-up or phone on June 1 and 2, and to the general public and online beginning June 3. Ticket prices range from $54-$78. The DCA box office is open Monday through Friday, 12 – 5 pm. For more information call 920.868.2728 or visit dcauditorium.org.
