On the heels of jam-packed summer and fall seasons, Door Community Auditorium (DCA) is announcing its vibrant and eclectic 2020 winter season.
DCA’s seventh annual Play It Forward for the Holidays concert on Dec. 30 will bring together local talent to benefit the Go Bo! Foundation this year.
On Jan. 28, the innovative dance troupe Pilobolus will present the unforgettable Shadowland: The New Adventure, which uses mixed media to tell a love story about two people and their quest to save a magical bird.
Davina and the Vagabonds will team up with Hot Club of Cowtown to present The Finest Hour: Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Music That Ended WWII on Feb. 14. The performance will celebrate American music at the end of World War II, when European jazz, Western swing, blues and pop energized America’s dance halls and radio waves.

A concert and uke jam/sing-along from Forté and The Pianissimos will follow Feb. 8; expect tight folk harmonies from identical twins The Brother Brothers on Feb. 22; and enjoy a Leap Day edition of the poetry/music coffeehouse Words on Fire – a collaboration with Write On, Door County – Feb. 29.
All coffeehouse concerts will take place at 7 pm in the DCA’s cozy Fireside Lobby. Tickets are $17.50 each (and $22 for The Brother Brothers). Advance reservations are strongly suggested. Kick Ash coffee and bakery will be available for purchase.
