DCA Winter Lineup Includes Small Forest, Deathfolk

The Door Community Auditorium (DCA) will present one of its most wide-ranging and exciting winter lineups to date in 2016.

On Jan. 9, DCA will launch its annual Coffeehouse Concert Series. This year, the series will offer old-fashioned, front-porch fun from the Door County Pickers (Jan. 9), progressive, original folk from Small Forest (Jan. 23), comedy and hypnosis from Lizzy the Dream Girl (Jan. 30), tight old-time harmonies from Deathfolk (Feb. 20), and the poetry/music coffeehouse Words on Fire (Feb. 27).

With the exception of Lizzy the Dream Girl, who will perform on the DCA mainstage, all coffeehouse concerts take place on Saturdays at 7 pm in the DCA Fireside lobby. Coffeehouse concerts are $15 for the public or $10 for students. All seating is general admission; advance ticket reservations are suggested.

In addition to Play It Forward on Dec. 19, DCA will feature another mainstage event this winter: on Feb. 14 at 8 pm, DCA presents Masters of the Fiddle, a whirlwind evening of virtuosic fiddle playing and step dancing by husband-wife team Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy. Tickets range from $24-48.

Door Community Auditorium is located on Highway 42 in Fish Creek. For more information or to reserve tickets, call 920.868.2728 or visit dcauditorium.org.
