DCA Presents the “3 Redneck Tenors”

3 Redneck Tenors, brought back to Door County by popular demand, will be performing at the Door Community Auditorium on Sunday, September 5 at 7 pm.

The story features three singing cousins from Paris, Texas: Billy Bob, Billy Joe, and Billy Billee. They are not the brightest crayons in the box, but one day while flexing their vocal pipes outside of their mobile music studio, (aka trailer) the boys are discovered by an enterprising, big-city agent, simply called The Colonel, who takes it upon himself to lead the boys to fame by finding the perfect venue to showcase their talent.

The 3 Redneck Tenors will perform songs from a variety of Broadway favorites, including Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, and The Sound of Music, with plenty of laughs along the way.

3 Redneck Tenors is written by Matthew Lord with musical arrangements by award-winning composer Craig Bohmler. The show is directed by Michael Barnard. Matthew Lord, Alex Bumpas, and Blake Davidson star as the tenors, each of them notable, professional vocalists with numerous opera and musical theater credits to their name. The Colonel is played by Dinny McGuire, a veteran circus ringleader and Vaudeville producer.

Underwriting for the performance was generously provided by Paula Wright Keller.

The Door Community Auditorium is located at 3926 State 42 in Fish Creek. For more information or to reserve tickets, ranging from $28 – $40, call 920.868.2728, visit http://www.dcauditorium.org, or stop by the auditorium box office.
