DCA Season Opens With Nitty Gritty

The Door Community Auditorium’s main-stage season begins June 20 with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band delivering its refreshed lineup and newfound energy at 8 pm.

Back to a six-piece outfit for the first time since its early jug-band days, the band remains one of the most accomplished groups in American roots music, and it’s fresh off the release of its critically acclaimed new album, Dirt Does Dylan. During its 60 years of performing, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has earned multiple Grammys, a CMA Award for Album of the Year and induction into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.
