The Gallery of the Door County Art League in Fish Creek will feature mixed media artist Beverly Hart Branson for the week of September 5.

Branson, a lifetime artist who feels that her creations are constantly evolving, works with watercolor, ink, acrylic, oil, and pencil. She also enjoys plein air painting and creating imaginative, fanciful birds, creatures, flowers, and scenes on paper, fabric, and wood.

Branson shows her work throughout the Midwest and is represented in private collections in Spain, Australia, and throughout the United States. She has donated her art to many benefit community causes including the Fairfield Center, Miller Art Museum, Peninsula Art School, and United Way. In addition to the Gallery of the Door County Art League, Branson’s work is on display in her Treetop Studio in Sturgeon Bay.

The Door County Art League is comprised of painters, sculptors, jewelers, potters, photographers, woodworkers, fabric artists, and more. All types of original art produced by members are on display and available for sale at the gallery, located in the Top of the Hill Shops, Highway 42 and County F on Spring Road in Fish Creek. Business hours are 10 am – 5 pm daily, and a reception is planned for the fourth Saturday of each month, 3 – 5 pm, throughout the season.
