DCAL Gallery Hosts Season Finale Reception

The Door County Art League (DCAL) Gallery is savoring the final weeks of a successful 2013 season with wine, cheese and other delectable treats at its autumn reception on Sept. 21, 3 – 5 pm. The reception is open to the public and admission is free.

According to Gale Ritchey, DCAL Gallery director, “Our artists have been busy painting all summer. We’re displaying dozens of new and original watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel and textile paintings plus art prints, photography and more. Like everyone else, we want to savor the final hours of summer with a little wine, a bit of cheese and perhaps a delicious surprise or two. We hope tourists and locals will all stop by and join us.”

The Co-op DCAL Gallery features the work of 24 Door County Art League member artists including: Beverly Hart Branson, Rick Brawner, Mitch Heinrichs, Susan Hoffmann, Polly Joubert, Barbara Kenyon, Maren Larsen, Suzanne Leberman, Dorothy McDowell, Gretchen Misselt, Denny Moutray, Sherry Mutchler, Marcia Nickols, Penny Pfister, Kimberly Rosploch, Bonnie Sandstrom, Dianne Saron, Karen Shanahan, Madonna Siles, Betty Kay Story, Barbara Timmerman, Elizabeth Van De Ven, Keith Wickert.

The DCAL Gallery is in the rear courtyard of the Top of the Hill Shops, located at Highway 42 and County F, Fish Creek. Hours are 11 am – 5 pm daily and 11 am – 3 pm Sunday through mid-October.
