DCEC Upcoming Events

Obie-award winning actress Kaiulani Lee portrays environmentalist Rachel Carson in A Sense of Wonder being shown by the Environmental Council at the Door Community Auditorium.

The Door County Environmental Council has two noteworthy events coming up, their Annual Summer Program and a film at the Door Community Auditorium.

The DCEC Annual Summer Program on August 19 at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall will feature a presentation by Valerie Fons, a world-class, world-record setting canoeist, at 7 pm. DCEC’s environmentalist of the year will be announced at this program.

DCEC will present A Sense of Wonder, a film about the late author of Silent Spring, Rachel Carson, Aug. 24. The film will be shown free at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek at 7 pm.
