DCEDC Accepting Nominations for Annual Awards

The Door County Economic Development Corporation’s (DCEDC) board of directors is accepting applications for the annual Door County Industry of the Year, Door County Entrepreneur of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement awards. The recipients will be announced at DCEDC’s annual meeting in April.

The Entrepreneur of the Year honor celebrates those who have taken the initiative to start and grow a successful small business in the county. The Industry of the Year award recognizes a construction, service or manufacturing business that has made a substantial impact on the community. The Lifetime Achievement honor honors those who have spent 20-plus years of their career or life building, operating and/or owning business(es) in Door County that have had a uniquely positive and lasting impact on the local economy and business landscape, and who actively participate in civic and community development.

Any Door County resident, business or employee may nominate a business, entrepreneur or lifetime achiever by filling out a nomination form or contacting DCEDC. Self-nominations are encouraged.
