DCEDC is Accepting Applications for Annual Awards

The Door County Economic Development Corporation’s (DCEDC) board of directors is accepting applications for the annual awards of Door County Industry of the Year, Door County Entrepreneur of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement, which salute and celebrate those who have made significant impacts economically or through business development and operation, civic engagement or community development. The award winners will be announced at the DCEDC’s annual meeting in April; the meeting date will be announced soon.

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award celebrates those who have started and grown a successful small business in Door County. The Industry of the Year Award recognizes a construction, service or manufacturing business that has made a substantial impact on the community and has enjoyed significant accomplishments during the past year.

The Lifetime Achievement Award honors individuals who have spent 20-plus years building, operating and/or owning business(es) in Door County that have had a positive, lasting impact on the county’s economy and business landscape, and who actively participate in civic and community development. This honor is awarded as merited.

Any Door County resident, business or employee may nominate a business, entrepreneur or lifetime achiever by filling out a nomination form or contacting the DCEDC. Self-nominations are encouraged.
