DCEDC Launces Beacon for Business Program

The Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) is launching Beacon for Business, a business-retention and expansion program designed to guide business and industry on the peninsula, light the path for entrepreneurs, and help the community navigate economic development. 

The program seeks to offer focused, strategic support to the county’s businesses, large and small, in all industries; and to connect them with local, regional and national resources.

Julie Schmelzer, DCEDC’s director of business development, will begin contacting area businesses and municipalities regarding the program during the coming weeks. The DCEDC wants to ensure that business owners are aware of the resources available to help them remain in business, improve profits and efficiencies, and expand; and to address concerns and troubleshoot.
